We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Surveillance/CCTV/Security Installation Technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about the Tech Services industry and has a strong desire to ensure the safety and security of our clients. As a Consulting Surveillance/CCTV/Security Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-end surveillance systems, CCTV, and other security equipment. This role requires an individual with a deep understanding of technology, networking, and communication systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Install, configure, and maintain CCTV, access control, and other security systems. 2. Provide technical support and troubleshooting services for all security systems. 3. Conduct site surveys to determine the optimal placement of security equipment. 4. Work closely with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions. 5. Train clients on the proper use and maintenance of their security systems. 6. Prepare detailed reports on installation activities and any identified security risks. 7. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in surveillance and security technology. 8. Collaborate with the sales team to develop cost estimates for clients. 9. Ensure all installations are completed on time and within the agreed budget. 10. Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines during installation procedures.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Surveillance/CCTV/Security Installation Technician or a similar role in the Tech Services industry. 2. Proven experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CCTV and other security systems. 3. Excellent knowledge of computer systems, networking, and communication systems. 4. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically. 5. Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical clients. 6. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client sites as needed. 7. Good physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy equipment. 8. A professional certification in network security or a related field would be an advantage. 9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 10. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
