Job Details

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of people by helping them regain their independence and mobility? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rehabilitative care and a deep commitment to improving patients' lives. Our Physical Therapist will work closely with patients, providing them with personalized treatment plans to help them achieve their mobility goals. This is a full-time permanent position, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

1. Conducting thorough evaluations of patients' functional status, physical performance, and mobility needs.
2. Developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans that focus on therapeutic exercise, functional mobility training, and gait training.
3. Utilizing assistive devices and neuromuscular re-education techniques to enhance patient mobility.
4. Implementing balance and fall prevention strategies to promote patient safety.
5. Educating patients and their families about treatment plans and progress, and addressing any concerns they may have.
6. Setting realistic and achievable goals for patients, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to help patients reach these goals.
7. Coordinating with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care.
8. Planning for patients' discharge, including recommending any necessary follow-up care or equipment.
9. Tracking patients' progress and outcomes, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal results.

Qualifications:

1. A degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
2. A current license to practice physical therapy.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a healthcare setting.
4. Proficiency in therapeutic exercise, functional mobility training, gait training, neuromuscular re-education, balance and fall prevention, and patient and family education.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable way.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
7. A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care, with a commitment to improving patients' quality of life.
8. The ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
